Hi there, my name is Jennie Tai!
I’m a Freelance Writer & Photographer that loves food.

 I travel around the DC metro
taking  photos of the things I love in life,
may it be art, nature, people, or of course – good grub.

I have a soft spot for french macarons,
not to be confused with its’ sticky cousin -
the american macaroon.

I prefer stout over beer.
dream of molecular gastronomy,
& swoon over anything truffled.

I have a puppy named JJ
and I love him to death!

As much as I like foie gras and bone marrow -
I could live off of buttered popcorn, chili dogs, & Mcdonald’s sweet tea.

In my free time
I play football, a bit of hold ‘em, & cook up a storm in my kitchen.

Around the world,
I believe there’s an endless abyss of great food & great sights
waiting to be discovered,
waiting to be enjoyed.

Whether it’s stone crab in sin city,
raw oysters from frisco -
rice pudding in nolita,
or froyo in dupont -

I’m always on the hunt for great food.
