Adams Morgan Best Of Cuisine Japanese Sushi Washington DC

Rooftop Sushi & Cali Froyo

Adams Morgan in DC is known for its’ street packed full of bars, restaurants and several different types of cuisine that their charming, multi cultural village has to offer. One of the most romantic spots for sushi in the area is Perry’s rooftop garden and bar that is placed under a canopy of christmas lights, and surrounded by fuschia flowers and greenery.

If you’re in the mood for something different, go ahead and order their unique fish & chips roll. It’s not as crazy or literal as the name and description may seem, I promise. Instead of beer battered fish and greasy potato wedges – Perry’s creates a roll with rice, light tartar sauce, and potato topped with fresh, raw flounder and crispy bits of small chips that are reminiscent of England’s take on fried fish and chips. What I loved about the sushi at Perry’s, is that each roll is packed full of fresh fish, vegetables, and less of rice or filler. What you read in the description is absolutely what you get, and then some.

What makes Caliyogurt different from several other frozen yogurt joints in DC, is the variety of different flavors and fresh toppings that they have to offer; such as green tea flavored froyo, mini grapes and fresh red cherries. In addition, Caliyogurt offers smoothies and exotic teas in case you’re not exactly in the mood for a full on dessert.
